Settings
The Settings page serves as the control centre for managing various settings of the system. It includes sections for Notifications, Devices, Geofences, Groups, Drivers, Calendars, Maintenance and User Management.
1. Notifications
The Notifications section enables users to stay informed about various events through configurable notifications. Notifications can be sent via web, mobile, and email, ensuring timely updates on critical activities.
2. Devices
The Devices section allows administrators to manage devices. This includes adding new devices to the platform and updating the existing device information.
3. Geofences
Geofences are essential tools in fleet management, allowing you to monitor vehicle movements within the specified zones. Events are triggered when vehicles enter or exit these geofences.
4. Groups
The Groups section allows administrators to organize devices, users, and other entities into manageable units. This helps streamline operations and improve administrative efficiency.
5. Drivers
The Drivers section allows administrators to maintain their drivers’ profiles within the system. This includes creating new driver profiles, and updating driver information.
6. Calendars
The Calendar section allows administrators to create and manage calendars, which can be used to limit geofences and notifications to specific times or schedules. This is useful for setting up time-based rules and ensuring that alerts and geofence activities are only active during designated periods.
7. Maintenance
The Maintenance section allows administrators to manage maintenance tasks for vehicles and devices. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to add and manage maintenance tasks.
8. Users
The Users section allows administrators to manage user accounts efficiently. It provides essential details like user name, valid email, and password. Optional fields will be auto-assigned if left blank.
